The Taliban claim they shot down a US military helicopter in Afghanistan today.

KABUL, Jan. 23 – Earlier on Saturday, a U.S Chinook helicopter went down in a related area of Kowi Safi, in the south of the Kabul city. According to the details, the U.S helicopter after shooting by the Mujahideen was left ablaze immediately which fell down in a few moments, killing its crew aboard.

The site of the crash was surrounded right after the falling down by the enemy in order to evacuate the casualties and the sensitive electronic equipments.
