Japanense hostage moved in Yemen

Members of al-Qaeda have taken a Japanese engineer from the tribe of Koub in Arhab district in Sana’a to unknown direction, chieftain told News Yemen.

“Members of al-Qaeda have abducted the Japanese aid worker early Saturday to unknown destination as the tribesmen were thinking to extradite the hostage to the committee,” Sheikh Abdul-Jalil Senan, head of the Mediation Committee, said. Senan believes al-Qaeda members may have led the Japanese hostage to al-Jawf.
